成立宗旨 Purpose of Establishment

        當東南亞國家邁向區域化及自由化發展的同時，中國大陸亦正興起，不僅將原本封閉落後的睡獅，改變成意氣風發、雄壯威武的巨人，而且帶動與東南亞國家的連結。當東南亞國家邁向區域化之際，中國大陸及日本、韓國亦加入與東南亞國家的區域化之列，因此10+1及10+3就逐漸形成。在此同時，南太平洋的澳洲、紐西蘭及南亞的印度，亦以鄰國之名加入東南亞的區域行行動，形成10+6。  

    這些快速的經濟情勢變動，台灣人民，尤其是青年學子，到底瞭解多少？對於外交孤立、經濟又逐漸被邊緣化的台灣，掌管台灣未來的年輕學子該如何因應？這就是本協會成立的背景，冀望能帶領更多的年輕人走出台灣，不僅認識自己，亦更多認識周遭國家情勢的變遷。

         於2015年9月6日成立本協會，至今共舉辦21場東南亞沙龍講座、24團東南亞台商企業研習團、6場東南亞語言競賽、開辦語言課程，以及與其他單位合作辦理東南亞領域相關活動與學術研究。

As Southeast Asian countries are moving towards regionalization and liberalization, China is also emerging. China has turned the mellow sleeping lion into a mighty giant that ripples with Southeast Asian countries. When Southeast Asian countries are moving towards regionalization, China, Japan, and South Korea have also joined the movement with Southeast Asian countries. Therefore, the terms 10+1 and 10+3 have gradually formed. At the same time among the South Pacifics, Australia, New Zealand, and India, being the neighboring countries, also joined the regional operations with Southeast Asia, thus forming a 10+6. 


With these rapid economic changes, the citizens of Taiwan, especially the younger generations, should have more awareness about the changing political economy in the neighboring area.  Concerning Taiwan's diplomatic isolation and gradually worsened economic margining, what should be the best response in charge of Taiwan's future? 


These are the reasons for the establishment of Kaoseas; aiming to enlighten the younger generations from Taiwan by knowing ourselves, and by learning more about the changes in the surrounding countries.  Since its birth on September 6, 2015, the Kaoseas has so far held 21 Southeast Asian salon forums, organized 24 Southeast Asian field groups, hosted 6 Southeast Asian Language Competition Series, opened language courses, and collaborated with partner associations, helping younger generations in Taiwan to know more about Southeast Asia.


台商企業研習團 Taiwan business academic research venture group

台商企業研習團高雄市東南亞產學交流協會最重要的一項活動，每年寒、暑假帶領青年學子與社會人士帶領青年學子前往東南亞拜訪當地台商企業、當地大學與我國駐當地代表處。目前為止已舉辦24團，分別為印尼雅加達4團(計67位)、越南胡志明、河內、峴港10團(計211位)、泰國6團(計96位)、柬埔寨金邊、暹羅1團(計14位)、馬來西亞檳城1團(計16位)。未來將持續與其他大專院校合作，幫助更多青年學子走向國際。


The spotlight activity of the Kaoseas is the Southeast Asia field group. This group leads, during winter and summer breaks, to visit local Taiwanese companies, universities, and Taiwan Offices in Southeast Asia.  


 As of before 2021, there were 24 groups organized, including 4 groups in Jakarta, Indonesia (67 people in total), 8 groups in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, Hanoi, and Da Nang (211 people in total), 4 groups in Thailand (96 people in total), 1 group in Phnom Penh-Siem Reap, Cambodia (14 people in total), 1 group in Penang, Malaysia (16 people in total).  In the future, we will continue to collaborate with other schools to help more students to broaden their international views.

東南亞沙龍 Southeast Asia Salon Forum

       東南亞沙龍講座至今舉辦21場，邀請東南亞領域的專家講師分享、介紹與分析東南亞各國的政經發展，讓更多人瞭解東南亞各個國家的經濟情勢、文化與風貌。

The Kaosseas has held 21 meetings so far, inviting experts to lecturer in the field of Southeast Asia and to share and analyze the political and economic developments of Southeast Asian countries.  These forums have provided Kaohsiung citizens an opportunity to have a better understanding of the politics, economic situation, history, and culture of countries in Southeast Asia.
